i think for developer and for CVS-users this _is_ a requirement. But you'll
only have to run aclocal, autoheader, autoconf and automake if you change
something in configure.ac or Makefile.am, that means if you want to add source
files or compilation options (and the first time you download a CVS version).
These steps can be automated using a shell script or a Makefile, but i don't
think that's necessary. In a way that's what admin/Makefile.common does, but
i'm sure it would be possible to strip it down.
for users who download a release, there should be a working configure script so
they won't need autostuff. For mustuxlib i think they will still need libtool,
as libmustux is a library.
