I have detected a very critical problem in the Slicing Algorithm used in Mixer.
If we use two or more sound cards that has different best fragment sizes for
play/rec ,
the slicing control cannot find a common slice size in order to make the mixing
process
it will required a complete revision of Mixer in 0.17 , so if you detect
problems when
playback such drops, glitches or even segfaults, probably that will have
something to do
with this slicing problem.
