My plan is when Tiger is released this Friday to use the gcc 4.0 that it
ships with to do a compile of pspp and see what happens. I'll keep you
posted...

I just wondered if anyone's tried building PSPP using gcc 4.0
If not, then it might be an idea doing that before the release,
instead of getting a flood of complaints just afterwards.
