I didn't create it either, although I did enter a small contribution
some time ago. It seems that somebody has recently edited it to read
rather less favourably than how I wrote it.
Also, I found that there's an SPSS wiki out
there, and it references PSPP in at least one place:

I put that reference there. I thought it was an serious omission which
ought to be put right.
On the subject of web visibility, I was recently browsing the log files
of the webserver which serves my homepage (it includes a small paragraph
explaining what PSPP is and what I've done to it). There were a
number of hits which were refered from google with a search string
similar to "pspp versus spss". I tried to see if I could trace the IP
back to SPSS Inc. but my investigation was inconclusive.
