If you enter a variable in the variable sheet, and then click on the
button in the values column, to display the value labels, it crashes.
It also seems to crash if you click a row in the data sheet which is
below the maximum number of cases.

Please don't bother fixing it, unless you are particularly interested
in doing so.  Parts of the gui need to be considerably rewritten
anyway.
