That would be pretty easy, yes.
I can't find command syntax to do this. Are you aware of any?
Perhaps it should be a new command, or it could be GUI-only,
without any corresponding syntax (though this would be useful
through syntax also).
When I want to do this, I use a syntax similar to
DATA LIST LIST /x (a12) y *.
BEGIN DATA.
One 1
Two 2
Three 3
END DATA.
PRINT OUTFILE='foo.txt'
/x (A12) y (F7).
EXECUTE.
