Yep, you're right.  It was in the Knoppix thread I was talking about earlier.  Don't know how I missed that.

It's remarkably similar to my patch, with the main difference being the command-line option used and slightly different placement of qemu_loadvm().  As I said, Fabrice's code made it pretty easy to implement, so I can't say I'm too surprised.

Maybe since two people found it useful enough to create a patch, it will get merged with CVS that much faster. :)
