I received the following bug repport from the Debian BTS a while ago, and I
think to apply the attached bug to fix it, but I'm really unsure of myself
concerning the mail command.
Could someone please review the patch (and commit it in the cvs)?

When generating the default From: for outbound messages quilt uses
$(hostname -f) to determine the domain part of the e-mail address.
Policy 11.6 specifies that this should be overridden by the value
specified in /etc/mailname.
