I don't think so - rdiff-backup is run as root on the destination
side, and rdiff-backup is basically the only program that are allowed
to write to the destination directory.
What can I do to fix this? What happends if I simply copy the files
into the destination directory (of course that will break the rule
that one should never write to the destination directory with another
tool than rdiff-backup)?
