[rdiff-backup-users] Install instructions for Mac OS X?

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone could provide some detailed instructions for 
installing/compiling rdiff-backup on Mac OS X.

I've tried following the instructions in the FAQ 
(http://rdiff-backup.stanford.edu/FAQ.html#OSX) but got the error 
message below at the first step:

aclocal: `configure.ac' or `configure.in' is required
