Hi,
I am trying to use rdiff-backup under Cygwin on a WindowsXP.
I compiled, tested and installed successfully librsync-0.9.7
I did install the cygwin package python 2.4.1
I finally installed rdiff-backup
All librsync-0.9.7 and rdiff-backup file where installed in /usr/local
I setup the variable: setenv PYTHONPATH
/usr/local/lib/python2.4/site-packages
I have been using rdiff-backup for a few years on Linux so I first
wanted to test it by using it on a simple backup in my home directory of
the dummy directory "toto" (/home/Laurent):
I typed:
rdiff-backup toto tutu
rdiff-backup fails with the following output:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/bin/rdiff-backup", line 23, in ?

IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory:
'tutu/rdiff-backup-data/error_log.2005-07-24T14:14:34-06:00.data.gz'
I have also been using the --windows-mode option but with no success.
I am running out of ideas.
Thank you for your help,
Laurent
