Hi folks,
I have a pretty special problem with my rdiff-backup which has run very well
so far:
During yesterdays backup operation, the shares that should be backed up were
altogether mounted wrong and thus nut being readable for rdiff-backup.
The result of this was that rdiff-backup has deleted all current files (the
1:1 copies) and moved all of them as compressed files into the history.
No question, this will still work like before. But there is just one
problem: After the next backup, the server will require the double
amount(!) of the space that was used yesterday. However, I do not have so
much space left.
Is there any solution to revert to the state of before this failing backup?
Thanks for any hints!
- michael
