yeah you're right, a lot more editing is required... sorry, you'll either need to dive in and do all the editing or ditch your rdiff-backup-data subdir and lose the history (and start the next backup with a --force so it'll create that subdir).
Neither of which is an appealing alternative (not to mention that I don't really know the repo format)
Hm... This looks like a glaring omission, and surely qualifies as a bug. Anyone else know anything about this? Maybe I should ask on the devel list?
