Hi,
when using rdiff-backup on a local machine only, rsync has an option
'--whole-file' which disables the delta-xfer algorithm which does pay
when copying between two local hard disks.
Is there something similar for rdiff-backup?
Nothing that I know of. But in thinking about it, there might not be
much benefit, given that rdiff-backup has to calculate all the diffs
anyway for the increments file. (No, I've never looked at the code to
see how that actually works.)
