Hi Mike, the UpdateError ... "does not match source" hints at the fact that the backed-up file was modified while the backup took place. It seems that you've done an `apt upgrade` while doing the backup. If it wasn't the case and it happens repeatedly, then it could be worrying, else it only means that those individual files have not been backed-up. Overall the backup should be fine, the end of the output is important to confirm this.
In general, don't send a screenshot of the terminal, just copy&paste the pure text from the terminal.

HiThis is a repeat of my previous message that was rejected for being too long. I've removed most of the examples of error messages. I hope this now meets the criteria.Regards Mike Hart -------- Forwarded Message -------- Subject: Error messages while backing up Date: Tue, 17 Jan 2023 21:54:55 +0000 From: Mike Hart <mike@gavrillo.co.uk> To: rdiff-backup-users@nongnu.org Hi First I'd like to thank the developers for creating such a great program.I'm writing because I'm getting an error message when I back up. I've attached screen shots. When I look at the backed up directory it looks ok, but just in case, I thought I'd ask if I need to worry or not.I'm using Ubuntu 22.04 on both the server and the client. Thanks in advance for your help. Regards Mike Hart
