[Savannah-hackers-public] repo.or.cz: do you git-gc repositories?

Hi Petr,

I'm wondering if you need to git-gc the repositories at repo.or.cz.

At Savannah I believe this is done automatically by git-shell to some
extent, but in some cases I found that it was necessary to manually
run it, in spite the gc.auto config.
So do you do need to do it from time to time?

I saw a thread about it on the list, but apparently it was related to
the different matter of locally forked repositories (and solved by
removing .keep files AFAICR).
