Hm, I'm not sure what you mean.  Lots of people submit bugs to the "make"
project without being members.

Are you saying that if I submit a bug and mark it as private, even I, as the
the submitter of the bug, cannot view it unless I'm a member of the group I'm
submitting to?

The problem is that Barry submitted the bug while not logged in by accident,
and when he submitted it he marked it private (which he wants to do I assume).
 Now he can't see it anymore, of course.

My request was that someone go into the savannah database and change the
"submitted by" field for that bug to be submitted by Barry, so he can see his
bug.

Am I confused by how this works?
