I have just started working on it, so there's really nothing for you to see.
But I could make a tar-archive available with the current sources (which can
not be run or something like that) if you want to.

(I will probably re-submit my project anyway, since I found out that there
already exist a project called GDS (Gnome Development Studio or something
like that.))

Yes, I know.  And from reading the license terms in that document I see no
problem with either creating a software that displays and constructs 
PDF-documents.

One of my goal is also to support SVG.

The functionality of the application will NOT depend on PDF - it will just
support it.  It will also support TIFF images in the same manner.
