The development version of SCM now has read/write-invariance for
floating-point numbers (and uses minimum digits to write) when bignums
are enabled in the build. It accomplishes this with a new builtin
function ROUND-QUOTIENT.
I also made progress toward 32-bit bignum digits, but floating-point
read/write are not working in that mode yet.
I would appreciate someone testing on a 32-bit CPU.
