Follow-up Comment #10, bug #21653 (project screen):
Hello. I utilized this site along with this site here
http://superuser.com/questions/566697/use-of-screen-on-terminal-is-blocked-by-length-of-user-name
to resolve the long login name bug in OSX 10.9 and 10.10. I recently updated
to 10.11 and have the problem back, however now I am unsuccessful at patching
and making a new screen in this version of OSX that will work with my "long"
username. I have also tested this method https://gist.github.com/4np/5111826
which is also unsuccessful for me. I am wondering if Jessica or anyone else
here has had success or can help out (I am NOT a developer - yet ;) . I am
also curious if Amadeusz can expound upon the edting of the os.h header user
defineable section - what should be edited? I see three sections:
TERMCAP_BUFSIZE, MAXPATHLEN, and IOSIZE. Thank you.
