If I read the code correctly, at least the trace file might contain a
notification. Did you try running with a trace file?
Yes and I have a patch for the trace message in this case
so it prints the offending PC address and associated symbol.
I am about to post a 1 line test case.
Sorry, can't help you much with the other questions, I'm a newbie to
simulavrxx myself. (Until your autoconf setup came in, I could hardly
build it at all here on FreeBSD.)
