As our server's db.log and recon.log files continue to grow, my mind
turns to logfile management.
I can obviously do things like: stop SKS, rename the logfiles, start
SKS; but I'm wondering if it is possible to rotate logfiles without
stopping SKS? I'm assuming that SKS keeps the logfiles open.
I haven't experimented because I don't want to upset a production
service.
What is the conventional wisdom on SKS logfile management?
