Hello GNU maintainers,
The FSF tech team may take on a full or part time intern this fall. They
have experience writing programs in C and would like to use their time
to contribute to a GNU project. I'm wondering whether any of you would
be interested in mentoring and receiving contributions from the applicant.
The applicant has the following skills:
- C (and C++) programmer; basic experience with HTML and PHP (favorite
language is C)
- Started coding about four years ago, starting with Python, then C
- Has been using only GNU/Linux for five years, supports and promotes
the free software movement
- Self-hosts personal net infrastructure
- Wrote and is maintaining a command line client written in C for use
with a social network
- Involved in adding features to their version of a small educational
operating system
- Uses GPL licenses and thinks software should use copyleft
Please let us know via this list or <address@hidden> this week if you
are interested in mentoring and receiving contributions from the
applicant this fall.
Thank you, :)
Andrew
