I back this comment.  I have wasted hours hunting around for the  
current active home some projects that move frequently.

I am also happy to use Savannah's bug tracker. I have in the past.   
Indeed some of this year's SoC suggestions are not far from previous  
enhancement ideas on the the bug tracker.
