Hi Marcus and all,
I'm in troubles with Windows XP (and: Cygwin 1.3.6; Swarm 2.2
pretest 4).
THE STATE OF THE WOLD
In my home I've the file .bashrc containing
#!/bin/bash
export SWARMHOME=/Swarm-2.2
PATH=$SWARMHOME/bin:$PATH
export PATH
export LESSCHARSET=latin1
export TMPDIR=/tmp
alias ls='ls --color=auto'
cd
and I've inserted in autoexec.bat (which was void)
SET SWARMDIR=C:\Swarm-2.2
SET PATH=c:\Swarm-2.2\bin;%PATH%
(I don't know if these lines in XP have some effects or no effect
at all).
THE PROBLEMS
Using Swarm in ObjC the applications run perfectly.
With jheatbugs-2001-03-28
'make' runs without problems, but
'javaswarm StartHeatbugs' gives (while the ProcCtrl windows is
temporary on the desktop)
Internal error: caught an unexpected exception
Please check your CLASSPATH and your installation
java/lang/NullPointerException
Signal 6
I've also installed jdk1.3.1_01.
In jheatbugs directory
'jdkcswarm *.java' runs quietly, but
'jdkswarm StartHeatbugs' gives while the ProcCtrl windows is
temporary on the desktop, as above)
An unexpected exception has been detected in native code outside the VM.
