I'm currently translating parts of Taler to German and have some enhancement proposals for the weblate instance. (BTW: It would be easier if some of native German speakers in the Developmentteam would do this, as they know best hat the meaning of the English text is.)
- Registration failed: I never received the confirmation mail - tried twice.
Configure the Repository-Browser-URL <https://docs.weblate.org/de/weblate-5.5.2/admin/projects.html#component-repoweb> to make it easier to get to the place in the code.
Enable to show similar texts — this would help translating in similar ways. This seems to be "translation memory". No idea why this is not shown yet.
Think about enabling "automatic suggestions" <https://docs.weblate.org/en/latest/admin/machine.html>, which uses external translation services - this is done in the "Management".
Think about enabling "automatic translation" <https://docs.weblate.org/en/latest/user/translating.html#automatic-translation>, which tries to find matching strings in external sources.
- Extend the glossary. Taler uses a lot of terms which should be translated all the same all over the sub-projects. The Glossary would help staying consistent.
