EUROPA ISLAND, FR/E, AF-009
A team of eight French radio amateurs will activate this rarely visited
island between Nov 22 and Dec 5. This DXCC entity is on rank 5 of the
Most Wanted DXCC list. Access to this island is usually limited to
French military personnel. Three stations will be active simultaneously
in SSB/CW/digital modes on 6-160m and also during the WWDX CW Contest.
The operators will be Didier,F5OGL, Eric,F5JKK, Stephane,F5KIN,
David,F0CRS, Danny,F5CW, F5IRO and Chris,TU5AX. The calls used will be
TO4E and TO4WW. QSL via F5OGL, bureau ok.
For correct WWDX scoring your logging software has to be modified!
This requires editing the cty.dat file for CT or the ctydb.dat file for
TLF to properly handle these calls (other contest logging software
presumably requires similar changes).
I modified the latest version of cty.dat and created a new ctydb.dat
using the tlf_convertctydb script. Copies of both are available from
my anonymous ftp server, ftp.n7xy.net.
