Have you tried with rigctl? At the moment Xtlf is using rigctl to
get/set the frequency. (working on the perl routines for a next
version).
So if rigctl works with your radio, it should work with Xtlf.

Contest -> load rules -> goto the /usr/share/xtlf/scoring/rules
directory -> open iota.rules -> see message "new rules?? pse restart".
-> restart tlf -> you now have iota rules.
