Hi Tom et al,
because the CQWW RTTY coming up this weekend i gave TLF and Fldigi a try
again. My findings are: IF gMFSK.log exists, which is needed for
Miniterm funcionality in TLF it goes seg fault. But this is actually no
problem because you can read whats coming in Fldigi if you have both
programs open. Transmit via gmfsk_autofile works. So what to to
if you want to work RTTY with TLF:
set in logcfg.dat:
RTTYMODE
GMFSK=/home/youruser/gMFSK.log (must be there, although it produces a error
at startup if file not present)
DIGIMODEM=/home/youruser/gmfsk_autofile
create a file in /home/youruser named:
TLFfldigi
(this triggers fldigi to work together with tlf)
DO NOT create gMFSK.log or delete it if its created by Fldigi.
What remains on the to do list:
- a new MINITERM in TLF (where to put it?, put callmaster somewhere else?)
- short gmfsk_autofile to 1 line + CR/LF, now it is 5 lines (4 are
empty) which causes a lot of scrolling on the RX side
Thats it for now...there is a RTTY skimmer by DL4RCK now running, which
is worth a try :-)
