Hi, Solaris is always a problem for Tramp. You might search in tramp-sh.el for "SunOS", maybe it is sufficient to adapt the special handling such a way that it works for Solaris 12 as well. I will check in more detail when I'm back, after Oct 10, or so. Best regards, Michael.
