Yes, the log files look as expected.

This is intended, we do the same with messages from security keys, like
yubikey, shown to the user. It shall gain attraction, that the user is
aware that (s)he has to do something: touching the security key or the
fingerprint reader.

No, I don't see anything left to do. I've added also a new test case to
tramp-tests.el, tramp-test47-read-fingerprint. Since it cannot assume a
real fingerprint reader, it mocks the messages. But better than nothing ...

I'll polish the patch a little bit; later today I'll commit it to the
repositories. Fingerprint support will appear publicly with Tramp
2.7.1.5, scheduled for release on GNU ELPA end of this month.
