XML/Pillow/prolog compatibility

i am planning to port the pillow package to gnu prolog.

1)has anyone done this before...i do not want to reinvent the wheel.

2) which prolog version would be closest to gnu prolog?

a)eclipse

b)sicstus

c)swi

d)yap
