PROLOG Queries

Hi,

 

I'm Madhukar, working as a Sr.Asst.Professor for an Engineering college in India,

 

I have some basic doubts related to licensing and evaluation of PROLOG tools as you mentioned in http://www.gprolog.org/.

we have a plan to use PROLOG compilers for our academic purposes.

 

Hence could you give me the details of....

 

• Whether the GNU Prolog is free tool or need to purchase licenses for Academic Institutions??
• In case of non-free tool what is the procedure for procuring the licenses (up to 10 numbers).
