[vile] Problem with moving perl libraries

I have been away from work for several months (was made redundant, now
working part time as a contractor) and I'm trying to pick up the
threads of (among other things) my working copy of xvile.

It's failing because some perl libraries have moved (or some links
have disappeared).  Can one manipulate the @INC that xvile uses or do
I need to rebuild xvile from scratch?
