I suppose it's a matter of how it's installed. On Debian/testing, I just picked all of the locales that were interesting to me. For this case, /usr/share/i18n/SUPPORTED offers 428 choices, including these: en_GB.UTF-8 UTF-8 en_GB ISO-8859-1 en_GB.ISO-8859-15 ISO-8859-15 -- Thomas E.
