The message comes from bind.c:
if (!is_our_file(dname, owner) || !is_our_file(fname, owner)) {
mlforce("[Skipping '%s' (insecure permissions)]", fname);
result = ABORT;
}
It seems that it's skipping the file because it's group-writable.
One workaround is to set the check-access mode to none in your .vilerc
set check-access=none
