As a team, you have four main jobs:
* Appoint team leaders to organize teams, when they volunteer.
* Connect new volunteers with the leaders of existing teams.
* Give Savannah access to translators that need it.
* In languages that don't have teams, install updated translations
yourself.
None of these is terribly subtle. If you are not sure which
is the right way to handle one of them, you could discuss the question
with a deadline of 3 days. At the end of 3 days, of the methods
that seem possibly the best, PICK ONE ARBITRARILY! Don't wait!
Any reasonable method is better than doing nothing.
You must get over your fear that you will pick the wrong method.
You must stop letting uncertainty hold you back from doing the job!
If you want any sort of help regarding savannah, write to
savannah-hackers. Say it is for the web-translation group.
If they don't do it within a week, write to them again and say
you have been waiting a week and cc me.
If you want any sort of help regarding the web site, write to
chief-webmaster. Say it is for the web-translation group.
If he doesn't do it within a week, write there again and say
you have been waiting a week and cc me.
