URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?11993> Summary: Hide password on command /connect server -pass Project: WeeChat Submitted by: ldvx Submitted on: Mon 16 Apr 2012 11:31:15 PM GMT Category: commands Should Start On: Mon 16 Apr 2012 12:00:00 AM GMT Should be Finished on: Mon 16 Apr 2012 12:00:00 AM GMT Priority: 4 Status: None Privacy: Public Percent Complete: 0% Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Planned Release: None IRC nick: ldvx _______________________________________________________ Details: When you send the message identify password to nickserv, weechat replaces your password with asterisks. Would it be possible/desirable to have the same behavior on the command connect? Such that: /connect freenode -password=my_secret_password would change to /connect freenode -password=***** And also for -sasl_password=my_secret_password. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/task/?11993> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
