Details:
Currently if I don't want to see messages by users from a certain host, I have
to use /ignore.
However, this will permanently hide the messages from them, while I'd like to
be able to toggle visibility.
So, I looked at /filter, but it doesn't seem to support filtering based on
someone's host (zeta.flashtux.org) or usermask
(address@hidden).
What about adding tags to messages for these, such as:
address@hidden and
++++host_zeta.flashtux.org----.
Of course, for that to be useful, /filter should also support having the *
wildcard in the middle of the tag and not just at the end, so one could do:
++++
/filter add test * host_*.flashtux.org
/filter add test * address@hidden
----
(or perhaps you have a better idea to do this)
