URL: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?36438> Summary: Excess Flood when re-connecting Project: WeeChat Submitted by: yano Submitted on: Wed 09 May 2012 01:18:14 AM GMT Category: core commands Severity: 3 - Normal Item Group: irc protocol Status: None Privacy: Public Assigned to: None Originator Name: Originator Email: Open/Closed: Open Discussion Lock: Any Release: 0.3.7 IRC nick: yano _______________________________________________________ Details: Steps to reproduce: 1. Start up WeeChat 2. Join a lot of channels (100+) 3. /disconnect from the network 4. try /connect network 5. Excess Flood (I've only done this on freenode) Also I have irc.server.freenode.autojoin set to at least 80 channels and when I first run /connect when opening up WeeChat it connects perfectly fine, no Excess Flood. This is most annoying when I'm connected to freenode and I get pinged timeout or get this: irc: reading data on socket: error -9 A TLS packet with unexpected length was received. Also this wasn't a problem in 0.3.6. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <http://savannah.nongnu.org/bugs/?36438> _______________________________________________ Message sent via/by Savannah http://savannah.nongnu.org/
