Great.
Then I'll do so, tonight.
Note that I'm not going to wire them in - I'm just going to put the
images into CVS.
A note to everyone - Pickslide has provided a portrait for the orcish
leader, but DO NOT commit this, as I have, after editing it, made it
not merely a portrait for a character in TDH, but a general orcish
leader portrait for all campaigns.
I presume you are saying that images/portraits/core/James_Woo/*.png
are your modified versions, and that these are meant for general use.
jep.
I
suggest that ott, who I presume is the maintainer of this campaign,
reference the global copy accordingly.
TDH. Apparently, pickslide made what is now "orc-warlord4.png" as a
portrait for "Tanar," which it still can be used as, but I saw no
reason not to use it for many other orcs as well.
Not sure which campaign you are referring to here. Benj is the SotBE
author, where Orcish leaders are most used, but certainly I am the one
who has spent the most time tweaking the campaign recently.
I'm still not sure what's gonna happen to all those portraits that neo
drew. I have all of them, and might get around to coloring them,
eventually, but right now they're just mouldering on my hard drive.
Certainly, if neo picks up on them and finishes the set, I'll get going
on coloring all of them, and we'll have a nice, happy set for SotBE, as
had been intended. But, will he?
Who knows.
TDH is maintained by Circon, though it is looking like I'll take care
of the CVS part of that job -- TDH uses several Orcish leaders as
enemies, and Gwiti also has an Orcish leader sidekick.
I would prefer to leave the artistic judgement to someone else -- if
someone wants to add some strategic references to the orcish leader
portraits to SotBE and/or TDH, please do so.
Pickslide has basically been "appointed" as the portrait artist for
that campaign. My suggestion, to you, ott, since I doubt anyone else
cares enough or has time to do this, is to wire in the orcish portraits
that pickslide drew, using "orc-warlord4.png" exclusively for Tanar,
and the other three for any others, and then to wire in the portraits
of the "brothers sorcerous". All of this is pickslide's work, and will
all match well with itself.
