I can manage the project, itself, leaving you to work on the actual
development. I will also work on getting others interested in helping some
of these other areas (documentation, debugging, porting, etc.).

I will leave it up to you and Kevin to discuss how you want to handle
changing the code to use his templating approach. I will update the wxRuby
wiki to reflect the current status and future needs of wxRuby, and then post
the ruby-talk ML about this to get other interested in helping.

Can you give me a brief description of the current status of wxRuby code and
you think still needs to be done?
