Indeed. In fact, I think the whole contest benefits from this change.
More competition, more mature content, more people :).

I think so as well. Although there are more and more complains now. :) I
just hope they won't roll back! What is going on is that lots of people
seems to have thought they could easily get a price by making a little
game (which wasn't wrong in the initial conditions), and now they claim
they "can't" participate anymore. Ahhh money...

Seriously, we should talk about this: what needs to be done until
when. Now we have a deadline, we should sort that out soon. (I for one
work quite well under deadline pressure... ;)

Do we need a presentation? In that case we could use a nice design for
the slides. Some adonthellish theme, whatever ...

We'll have to present the game, and maybe some "slides". In this case,
hey, why not doing a live Adonthell pres? I mean, with a cute Python
script that demonstrates the elements of the game along with the nice
text (using the new Window system of course!) The preference for the
presentation is French however, which shouldn't be a problem since Joel
and I will be there, but It'd be maybe better if everybody acts during
the pres.

Don't think we can do much on the gfx front though. Getting rid of the
pink noise is the only thing I can think of :).

Gottit! ;)

What I think we should have is:

     * The new font system,
     * A french translation (I will help if he's short on time) since
they "prefer" games that run in French
     * A nice presentation showing how portable, multi-platform,
multi-language, and so on Adonthell is
     * Ok, ok, I'll remove that pink noise... :p
