i was born & grew up in California, but i've always been
fascinated by Eastern philosophy. When i use the term
"eastern philosophy", i'm specifically talking about
the Bhagawad Gita, Ramayana, Patanjali, and _lots_ of
other great writings. Of course i've only read a
fraction of what has been translated into English,
and there is tons of stuff that hasn't been translated.
But i think the most important & popular works have
been translated.

As an American, i think i know one of the key ingredients
of the Western mind: statistics. Naturally, i was
curious to see if all these theories, styles of
thought, west & east, can be reconciled.

i've been working on a project for about 4 years.
The basic approach is to chop up films by emotional
content, take the pieces, and combined them into
an index. Recall "witness state" from the Gita?
Well, that's what i'm working towards. "How
familiar are you with the witness state, in
statistical terms?" Sound impossible? Well then
take a look:

And don't just gloss over it and say to yourself
"looks interesting" and then go back to watching
TV. Give it a ponderous considering. Ruminate.
Digest. Play the Guessing Game. Glance at the
manual. Ask me some questions. Let's see where
this leads.

Thank you for your consideration.
