We have a bug tracker.  Just write to the bug-automake list.

Oh yes, but it's not completely clear to me whether I get only an email for a bug that I submitted or whether I can explicitly can subscribed to some specific bug-thread.

...similar to what for example the roundup-tracker can do. The python people use it. The "Nosy list" is what I am referring to.
