Hello,

I've tried programming the device using AVRPROG, however the device failed
to verify.

I've also tried programming the device using an STK500, however AVR Studio
complains the file is not a valid HEX file.

Has anybody else tried programming the device using the SKT500 ?

If so, is any BIN->HEX conversion required ?

What is the preferred conversion package ?

Any help would be appreciated,

Lee

They just wrote a quick and dirty BOOTLOADER in basic. You don't need
the bootloader, you can burn the m163 directly if you have an STK500
by using the binary file he listed (the one that comes with Studio)

Too simple!
