[avr-gcc-list] Newbie Questions |

Hi all,
I am just starting my first encounter with the Atmel family and
microcontrollers in general and I can say that I am not a very experienced
programmer. So your help will be greatly appreciated.
I am trying to write a c code that will access some data in memory and do some
operations on them. I have the data in binary and can convert it to Intel hex.
I am using AVR Studio 4.0 to simulate the program on Atmega128 and specifically
need to find the number of cycles it takes. I have a couple of questions:
1. In AVR Studio, I know how to load the program file, but how can I load the
data file to simulate the program?
2. If I loaded the data how can I access it in the program? could you please
provide a simple example.
Thank you all in advance.
Regards,
Hosam
