uninstall issue.... I'll

Don't assume; verify by executing:
avr-gcc --version
You should get version 3.3.2.

I'm sorry, I don't know much about PonyProg. Are you using avrdude or uisp with 
it? Or it's own 
software?

Perhaps if you brought this up on the AVR Freaks website?
