[avr-gcc-list] AVR Programming in Cygwin (WinXP) under uisp |

Hi all!
I'm currently working on Cygwin under WinXP, and I have installed everything
I need in order to be able to write, compile, and generate a hex file of
my code (using avr-gcc compiler, no IAR). The only thing I need, is to program
my AVR with my hex file. I have already installed uisp for that purpose. I was
using Linux and I used to program my mC from the parallel port (dapa), via
direct parallel access. I cannot do something like this under Windows.
Should I program my mC only from serial port? Is there a hack for programming
it from PC's parallel port without extra effort (e.g. jtag interfaces etc.) ?
Thanks in advance,
