What distribution are you using?  I have RPMs for the following:
avr-binutils-2.19
avr-libc-1.6.8
avr-libc-docs-1.6.8
avrdude-5.10
avr-gcc-4.3.3

These should be a close match to Eric's latest WinAVR release.
